Favorites List (3.10.12) Recipe
The March favorites list, and a proposal to switch things up a bit.

I think I'm going to switch up the way these favorites lists work. Just a bit. Instead of doing them monthly, I'm going to post them whenever I have 20 or 30 links I'm excited about. However often that might be. And I'll do my best to make sure recipes don't get pushed out of the way - I know a number of you feel as if a favorites list is a poor substitute for a good recipe. Understood ;) It's just that right now I end up with a list, and then sit on it for weeks, which doesn't seem quite right...I find myself counting the days until I can share this sort of link love with you. -h

Special props to *you* for being on Ottolenghi's favorites list in The New York Times today - whoop whoop!
Start a cafe! I will come visit all the time. :)
I love the links:) :) Thank you for sharing:)
Make sure you have lots of open time when you start to read -- it's hard to put down except to watch the videos or put on a pot of water to boil... Thanks for the list - it is great to discover new things!
I absolutely love your favorites list and find them just as inspiring as your recipes! I love that you share what is turning you on creatively out side of the kitchen because I think it all feeds eachother.
I like this new way of posting your Favorites list. Really enjoyed it.
Thanks for spreading out the links to a more manageable list. Love love love the underground new york public library!
Ah, the favorites list...what a delight...but honestly, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if you had a Favorites Corner with just a few items each time. It would save me from spending hours perusing the list on the day I receive it! I have no restraint...I can't seem to stop until I've devoured the whole thing!
I love your recipes but I am a huge fan of your favorites lists which are full of such wonderful sites, full of such wonderful, educational, beautiful things. Linda
Favorites? White lisianthus...you can stop right there.
I so look forward to these....another fantastic list!
I love your favorites lists! They give me a great view of some really great sites and blogs on the web. It's like a guided bus tour with a great host :)
I always enjoy your Favorites List and am hoping that they're will be even more now!
I just finished reading "An Everlasting Meal" and LOVED it, I thought I was frugal, but she has really opened my eyes to seeing what I tossed into compost as valuable and tasty food. Also, I like your lists, I discover things I otherwise would miss :-)
Is there anyway you can automatically set up your favorites link to open in a new tab. I always forget an get so engrossed in the favorites that I have to hit the back button a lot. P.S. I so want to read " A Hundred Years of Solitude" again. Thanks
Ohh, I love the Dream Cafe listing in SF as well! I've been scouring spaces and came across it - not looking for retail, but if I were - it would be on my "Dream" list ;)
Oh, and The Loving Story! How could I not mention that? Again, well done with spreading the inspiration around.
What, are you kidding me with this list? The grapefruit olive oil cake, the hours I will spend since your introducing me to Domestology and the artist studio website and all to finish with that incredible Ted talk...sweet lord. How am I ever supposed to get my chores done now? Best. list. yet.
Thanks, lots of awesome links. Like the paneer and grapefruit cake.
Thanks for the first lines. Got me a list of books to look at. Though I think they missed this one which many years ago completely drew me in for hours: The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed. (from The Gunslinger by Steven King).
